i am not trying to say that i hate goruck bags, it’s just that for the money you pay for the goruck bags, it’s not worth your money compared to buying bags from seattle company tom bihn.

i have two gorucks and the quality control is not that great. i have the gr1 and the gr2. both have tiny little holes right next to the molle webbing when this is stitched to the bags. i have tried to find these holes with tom bihn bags. i don’t see any at all.

you pay less for tom bihn bags and you get an all ballistic nylon travel bags that is made perfectly with strict quality control. no holes to be found near any stitching.

what do you get with your goruck? 1000d nylon and only the bottom is made of ballistic nylon. one should really have a look at a bag that is made 100% of ballistic nylon. they are sick!!

maybe i am anal but i like my bags to come to me without any holes.

for traveling i will use strictly tom bihn bags. for urban warfare, i will use goruck.

in closing, again, i am not hating on goruck. they do look and feel solid. it’s just that quality control is an issue.
